Boston-area filmmaker Cheryl Eagan-Donovan traces the roots of the once-again burgeoning garage rock scene -- in particular, the under-appreciated career of the city's legendarily decadent quartet the Real Kids -- in her debut documentary. All Kindsa Girls: The Real Kids features interviews with rock luminaries recalling their experiences with the band in the late '70s and early '80s as they tore their way through clubs in the U.S. and, more significantly, overseas, where the Real Kids enjoyed a far greater measure of popularity. In-between interviews, Eagan-Donovan cuts in rare, as well as recently-shot, concert footage of the foursome, still led by their venerable, eccentric frontman John Felice.
