Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Alien Planet, a movie created specifically for the Discovery Channel, concerns a pair of robots who have been sent into space in order to get information about a new planet. The planet appears to be enough like Earth that it would be able to allow living creatures to inhabit it. Scientists are surprised when they discover that the planet's intricate ecosystem supports a variety of creatures that are different than anything seen on Earth. The film is based on the theories of Stephen Hawking and other world-renowned scientific minds.
