After accidentally burning one of Brian's schoolbooks, ALF experiences a record-breaking streak of bad luck that spills over to the rest of the Tanner household. This convinces him that he has fallen victim to a Melmaccian curse that will condemn him to fourteen years of ill fortune--and seven of those years will be REALLY ill. His only hope for salvation is to perform the bizarre, complex and utterly incomprehensible "Melmaccian Bibliocide Ritual" (which explains why he's wearing meat around his neck!)
