Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Egyptian cinema legends Farid Al Atrache and Samia Gamal team of for a delightfully fun tale of fantasy and comedy in this story of one man's wish for love and the magic lamp with the power to make it come true. Struggling actor/singer Asfour (Atrache) would love nothing more than to win the heart of his gold-digging girlfriend, but his quest for companionship seems doomed to fail when the promises made by a rich suitor find her unfaithful heart wandering ever further astray. Though the chance discovery of a magic lamp and its wish-granting Genie (Gamal) seems just the remedy for the lovelorn actor's recent heartbreak, his situation grows comically complicated when he realizes that this particular genie has a mischievous streak a mile wide.
