An emperor who once abandoned his throne must regain his memory and save his kingdom from the evil uncle who plots to rule with an iron fist in this romantic comedy from Hong Kong. Upon learning the identity of the woman his mother has selected to be his bride, Emperor Zhu Zhengde (Richie Ren) flees the palace to live among the commoners. When Zhu's money runs out and his memory is wiped clean, a kindly innkeeper (Barbie Hsu) generously offers food and boarding. Meanwhile, back at the castle, Emperor Zhu's malevolent uncle attempts to stake his claim on the throne. With the future of the entire nation in jeopardy, the young emperor must return to the castle, and prevent his uncle from seizing power.
