Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A severe Islamic cleric named Hassan (Cem Ozer) arrives in a remote Anatolain village with his wife and daughter, only to find his once unbendable religious beliefs mellowing with exposure to the jovial country folks in director Barris Pirhasan's playful drama. Though at first perceived as a cold and arrogant man, Hassan is proven to be a gentle yet reserved leader when people who sent for an imam to guide them in prayers and teach their children find out a benevolent secret from his past. Meanwhile, a playful little prankster named Adem (Firat Can Adin) befriends the iman's daughter and, as an indirect result, gradually draws the newcomers into the community.
