Synopsis by Mark Deming

Dan Brown's best-selling novel The DaVinci Code helped to open up a new level of debate about the life of Jesus Christ, and documentary filmmaker Elizabeth Vargas uses some of this speculation as a springboard for this film about undocumented aspects of the life of Christ. ABC News Presents: Jesus, Mary and DaVinci features interviews with historians, theologians, and philosophers as Vargas addresses such controversial questions as whether or not Jesus took Mary Magdalene as his wife, if they had children, and if those offspring might have any living descendents today, while also attempting to fill in the missing chapters of the life of Christ.
