Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
An elderly retired official contends with his drunken playboy son and the passage into a new era in this somber drama. The nabob is content to spend the rest of his days in his crumbling castle and refuses to go outside. He turns down the offer of millions of dollars to have his castle turned into a luxury hotel, choosing to live in impoverished dignity. His son finds salvation through the love of a beautiful young peasant girl.
