Two sisters with polar opposite personalities develop feelings for the same suitor, leading to an overwhelming number of complications, in this Bollywood-produced romantic melodrama from director Deepak Sareen. Each sibling - Reema (Juhi Chawla) and Roma (Amrita Singh) - would love nothing more than to spend her life with the handsome and charismatic Ravi (Jackie Shroff). Unfortunately, Ravi must choose between them, and finds himself quickly and passionately drawn to Roma, but the latter proves unworthy of his affections; she wastes no time neglecting him and embarking on a self-serving modeling career, and even jilts Ravi on their wedding day. As an alternative, Ravi turns to Reema as a wife; though deeply rejected and scarred, she consents, but suddenly, at the last minute, Roma waltzes back into their lives and causes and endless number of complications.
