Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

A CIA cover-up threatens the world's well-being in this grim drama. The trouble began several years ago when an African American agent sees his countrymen surreptitiously dumping radioactive waste in a remote African nation. Leroy Jones knows it is wrong and makes a full report. His superiors immediately tell him to forget what he saw. A good operative who prides himself on his patriotism, Jones obeys orders and eventually rises to the rank of senior analyst in the CIA. Years pass uneventfully until the illegal waste leaks out and contaminates a cocoa plantation. The irradiated cocoa is sold in the U.S. and made into internationally distributed chocolate products, causing a spate of deaths. Deeply troubled, Jones is forced to decide whether or not to keep the matter hush-hush.
