Synopsis by Hal Erickson
An impressive writer-director team was responsible for the otherwise unremarkable British sitcom A Thinking Man as Hero. The title character was a harried business executive who, without tangible evidence, becomes convinced he is dying of a lingering illness. The series' two 75-minute episodes explored the protagonist's plight in a cerebral fashion. Keith Barron headed the cast of A Thinking Man as Hero, which was telecast by BBC2 in 1973.
