Veronica Chan Ching-wee directs this high-octane action yarn about battled weary killer Ko (Andy Lau Tak-wah), who, one day, stumbles upon another hit in progress being carried out by asthmatic hit woman Yu-feng (Anita Yuen Wing-yee). She kidnaps him hoping to make a clean get-away, and, of course, they fall in love. Yet unbeknownst to each other, both work for the same boss -- Ice (Christine Ng Wing-mei) -- who runs her killing business from an art gallery. Inevitably, Ice assigns one to the other and hires the psychotically violent Wong Cheong (Mark Cheng Ho-nam) to kill them both.
