Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Keystone stalwarts Mack Sennett, Mabel Normand, and Ford Sterling headed the cast of the one-reel farce A Strong Revenge. The paper-thin plot is motivated by the feud between a cobbler and a grocer. Seeking vengeance for past slights, the cobbler places a couple of slabs of limburger cheese in the insoles of the grocer's shoes. Thus, when the grocer leads the heroine onto the dance floor, he makes quite an impression on everyone in the room -- and not a favorable one. Though no director was credited, research has revealed that A Strong Revenge was directed by co-star Sennett.
