Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Nearly sixty years after photographer Manuel Alvarez Bravo and cinematographer Gabriel Figueroa abandoned their efforts to capture the famed Mexican painter Diego Rivera's creative process on film, the project is resurrected by Rivera's grandson Diago Lopez Rivera and Figueroa's son Gabriel Figueroa Flores. The deeply personal documentary footage long thought lost, few even realized that such a unique film was ever attempted. Over a half century later, Rivera's grandson and Flores' son discovered the remarkable footage and set out to explore the historical context in which the events took place by complimenting it with interviews and seldom seen archival footage.
