Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Life for a Life was first aired as an episode of the 1973-74 Jimmy Stewart TV detective series Hawkins. William Windom plays an extremely neurotic individual accused of murder. The DA believes that the crime was committed to avenge the killing of Windom's son. Hawkins (Jimmy Stewart) is hired to prove otherwise, despite the fact that Windom had vowed publicly to kill his son's murderer. Life for a Life was originally telecast November 13, 1973.
