Synopsis
The story of a severely abused puppy and the man who rescued him is the focus of this documentary. Gucci was a puppy in Alabama who was lit on fire but saved by a neighbor named Doug James, who took the dog in and kept him as a pet for 16 years. Together, the duo pressed for stricter animal-abuse laws, and the "Gucci Bill" was passed in 2000, making certain kinds of animal cruelty a felony in Alabama.
