Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Singer Frosia Gregory, a popular and perennial guest star on many a Canadian variety show, briefly headlined her own CBC series, designed as a summer replacement for CGE Showtime. In addition to the titular star, the series featured a large cast of regulars, among them the Enchanted Strings and Canadian National Ballet dancers Lois and David Adams. Harvey Hart, one of Canadian television's leading lights (before moving to Hollywood to helm many a TV movie and miniseries), held the production reins. A Date With Frosia aired in a half hour Sunday-evening slot beginning May 2, 1954 and ending on July 11 of that same year.
