It is the 1980s and Corey Pegues (Corey Bressant) thrives as a full-fledged member of the infamous New York City gang, Supreme Team. However, his involvement in crime abruptly ends after he endures a near-death experience during a gang confrontation. He decides to leave the city, only to return as a promising police officer for the New York Police Department years later. When he voices his support for radical police reform, he immediately becomes the target of unpleasant characters, who shove his former life into the spotlight. Ilinca Calugareanu directs the docu-drama.
