Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
This Israeli documentary explores the notion of national identity for Israelis while filmmaker Amit Goren attempts to reconnect with family members living in and embracing U.S. lifestyles. When Goren was 9 his family moved from Israel to the U.S. He never felt at home there and eventually returned to Israel. For this documentary he goes back to the States to interview siblings and parents and finds that his family is largely indifferent to his question.
