Instructor Troy Dexter has played with such great performers as Randy Travis, Bonnie Raitt, and James Taylor, and is also a graduate of the Dick Grove School of Music. Dexter draws upon all of his practical experience and professional training as he demonstrates a variety of techniques that help viewers master some of the most important country guitar skills. He teaches students how to create and play a variety of licks, including pedal steel, bluegrass, and cascading licks. Dexter also demonstrates how licks can be created using harmonics, intervals, triads, bends, chromatic passages, arpeggios, open strings, and double stops.
