Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Originally produced by Disney in 1954, this whimsical version of Jules Verne's classic novel has been put to animation. When Captain Nemo takes a professor and a stout-hearted sailor captive, he doesn't count on the change of heart he would experience after the sailor rescues him from a giant squid. Against all odds, the captain decides to share his vast nautical knowledge with the rest of the world -- that is, if circumstance allows.
