  • Appeared in Lee Kyung Sub's music video "Blue" (1999) and Lee Jung Bong's music video "Landscape" (2001).
  • In 2001, was nominated for Best New Actor at the Busan Film Critics Awards and the Director's Cut Awards for his role in the horror film Sorum (2001).
  • Had to withdraw film contracts because he was badly injured while perfoming a stunt.
  • Decided to quit acting in 2004, however he took on the lead role in Immortal Admiral Yi Sun-sin (2004-2005) for which he won a Grand Prize at the KBS Drama Awards.
