Although he has been appearing in films since the late '60s, black actor Mike Warren is best known for playing officer Bobby Hill on the television series Hill Street Blues. Prior to his film career he attended college at U.C.L.A. where he was a basketball teammate of Lew Alcindor (aka Kareem Abdul-Jabbar).
