Platinum blonde screen performer Katie Morgan checked in as one of the more popular adult movie stars of the early 21st century, exuding a high-pitched baby voice, ditzy persona, and trademark insatiability from assignment to assignment that made her a supreme favorite among fans of hardcore sex films. Morgan officially entered the porn industry in 2001 at the request of the legendary Ed Powers (for whom she shot her first sex scenes), and did a series of adult vignette lines, including "Jail Babes" and "Barely Legal" for Hustler. She then moved into radio (hosting The Wanker Show on KSEX with Wankus) and adult television as the "score keeper" on the Playboy television network's series The Weekend Flash and Totally Busted. Subsequent assignments remained squarely in the adult realm and witnessed Morgan turning out innumerable pornographic features, including Dirty Dancers the Movie, Key Party, and Dirty Little Cheaters. With an appearance in the HBO documentary Pornucopia Going Down in the Valley (2004) and the Kevin Smith-directed sex comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008) (opposite Traci Lords), Morgan began to crossover into mainstream entertainment, albeit entertainment that consistently retained erotic themes and emphases.
