Ronald Howard made his film debut in Pimpernel Smith (1941) with a small role opposite his more famous father Leslie Howard. The former grew up to further his film career in efforts such as The Browning Version (1951) and Black Orchid (1951). Howard is perhaps best-remembered for playing Sherlock Holmes in the popular British television series of the 1950s.
