Biography by AllMovie

A prominent stage juvenile who played Laurie in Little Women and appeared opposite such luminaries as Arnold Daly, Lily Langtry, and Julia Dean. Henry Sell (sometimes given as Henry G. Sell, Harry G. Sell, or even Henry Gsell) enjoyed some success onscreen in the 1910s, especially playing Pearl White's love interest in three popular serials -- The Fatal Ring, The Lightning Raider (1919), and The Black Secret (1919). Somewhat of a serial specialist, Sell was also in The Seven Pearls (1917) opposite White's advertised successor, Mollie King, and A Woman in Grey (1919) opposite Arline Pretty. His screen career ended in the early 1920s.
