• Born in Utah, but moved several times as a child due to her father's job as an electrician. Lived in Washington, Idaho and Hawaii before her family settled in California when she was a teenager.
• Discovered by a photographer when she was working at a surf shop.
• Has been the face of several campaigns, including Gillette Venus, Olay, Nike, UGG Australia and Skullcandy headphones.
• Met future husband John Legend on the set of his 2007 music video for "Stereo."
• Friend and fellow model Brooklyn Decker introduced her to the team at Sports Illustrated, who featured her in their Swimsuit Issue from 2010 through 2015. She was also featured on the 2014 50th anniversary cover with Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge.
