Actor Noah Bernett entered acting during his primary school years, and both developed and sustained a reputation at an early age for taking edgy, slightly provocative roles. He debuted on film as Tim, the young ghost-boy spotted by psychiatrist Dr. Miranda Grey at the conclusion of director Mathieu Kassovitz's poorly received supernatural thriller Gothika (2003), and after a series of fleeting appearances on television turned up with his second major movie role as an über-gay 12 year old who illuminates the lives of a closeted homosexual uncle and his partner in the 2007 drama Breakfast with Scot.
