Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Mary Graham (Mollie King) invites Helen, her old pal from school (Lucy Fox), to come visit her home. But Helen isn't any sort of friend to Mary; in fact, she begins an affair with Mary's husband, Robert (Edward Langford). Finally, Mary, who is pregnant, leaves home and stays with the aunt (Jane Jennings) of her loyal friend, James Livingston (Frank Mills). She has the baby, but returns home without it, determined to win Robert back by love and not a sense of duty. Instead she finds him still involved with Helen. Livingston, disgusted by Robert's behavior, ruins him in the stock market. Now that he's broke, Helen leaves him. Mary, however, offers him everything she has that so he can meet his debts, and then she brings out the kid to complete a truly bathetic reunion.
