Barbara is a sexually frustrated would-be writer who supports herself by typing manuscripts for others. One day, Barbara's younger sister Julia appears at her doorstep, something which is less than good news, especially when the erotically omnivorous Julia wants to continue the Sapphic relationship they experienced when they were young. Julia discovers that Barbara's next door neighbor Georgia is a bisexual libertine who stages small-scale orgies in her rooms, and begins taking part herself.
