Two friends dream of what they will do when they become adults. One dreams of traveling to far off lands, but the young man with the dream of travel stays home while his friend leaves town. The one in town receives postcards from exotic locations with considerable written embellishment about his adventures. The young man at home engages in passionate love affairs with a beautiful young woman and his landlady. When the traveler returns, he admits he may have exaggerated about some of his adventure stories. Both friends continue to dream of the new horizons that the future holds for them and embrace the excitement of the unknown.
