Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Constance and Douglas Winthrop (Ethel Clayton and Harrison Ford) seem to be a mismatched young couple. He's all business, while she leans towards the frivolous. Only their child Rosie (Dorothy Rosher) keeps them together. But they decide to make an effort at compromise -- he promises to come home at 5 p.m. and leave his work behind, while she offers to spend evenings at home. But Mrs. Dunbar (Mabel Van Buren), who believes that she has been snubbed by Constance, plots a revenge. She convinces Douglas to spend time with her, and when Constance hears about it, she takes off for a dance. When Rosie dies, it seems like the marriage is done for. But they are reunited by their lawyer when they go to his office to arrange for a separation. This domestic drama was based on a play by Bronson Howard.
