Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Dedicated to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, this inexpensive, independently produced serial starred a couple of Boy Scouts -- Bobbie Cox and Jim Vance -- who with their pilot, Carter Dixon, crashland in a Central American jungle. Dixon suffers a broken leg, and the boys must use all of their skill and scouting knowledge to get him and themselves back to civilization. Along the way, they are threatened by various jungle fauna and a couple of human predators, Philo McCullough and serial regular Frank Lackteen. Geared thoroughly to the small fry, this 12 chapter serial cast a clever canine, Johnson, in lieu of the usual love interest.
