Synopsis by Clarke Fountain

Chung-Hee was simply doing her unhappy visiting sister-in-law a favor when she closed up the family restaurant and walked her home. Perhaps she had a premonition of things to come, because she resisted stopping in at a bar on the way. Soon enough, the woman she had been consoling has gotten picked up by a man, and Chung-Hee is left to handle things on her own. Two students attempt to rape her, and in her struggle to resist them she bit the tongue off of one of the men. Rather than prosecute the rapists for rape, the government seems to be bent on punishing her for resisting it, as she is subjected to two separate judicial procedures. This dramatic film is based on a true story.
