Offering an interesting and sometimes campy look at colonialist perceptions of the Amazon rainforest's indigenous peoples, this Brazilian compilation is comprised of documentary and feature film footage from the 1930s through modern times. Films excerpted include The Last of the Bororos (1930), Discovery of Brazil (1937), Jungle Head Hunters (1952) and How Tasty Was My Little Frenchman (1972).
