Synopsis by Tracie Cooper

Directed by Ravin Asaf, Yellow Days revolves around Pasha, a 13-year-old boy whose name means "Devil," and a German woman planning to do research on Kurdish folk dancing and singing for her Ph.D. studies. Before long, the men of the village begin to think "Yellow Hair," as they call the young German, would make a more suitable bride than a student. As the conflict throughout the community turns the village into a virtual war zone, Pasha and his friends take on the role of adults, both politically and otherwise.
