Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

Bolivian Indians organize to protest the supposed existence of a sterilization clinic rumored to eliminate the tribe. The Peace Corps leaders in the area are the target of native hostilities. When they take up arms, an intolerant general orders troops to shoot any unfriendly Indian. An Indian brings his wounded brother to the hospital and watches him die for lack of a blood transfusion and bureaucratic ineptitude. He returns to the tribe, who raise their rifles in the air in a symbolic display of defiance and revenge. The film combines color with black and white photography.
