Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
When a young and cynical writer visits the former concentration camp at Auschwitz, he is haunted by the experience. His carefree personality is changed as he is consumed by the wretched and horrible memories of starvation, torture and death. He returns to his girlfriend who realizes he is a changed man who may be forever scarred by his visit. She also has the foresight to realize that, in time, he may indeed learn to forget and return to the cavalier attitude that has him adapting to change to satisfy his worldly pleasures.
