Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The popular screen team of Carter and Flora DeHaven successfully alternated between two-reelers and feature films throughout the teens and twenties. One of their longer efforts was The Wrong Door, directed by Carter DeHaven himself. More melodramatic than most of the couple's efforts, the film casts Mr. DeHaven as a young millionaire who falls in love with a chorus girl (Mrs. DeHaven). The girl's foster father was a criminal, a fact that she hopes to bury once she gets married. But the heroine's crooked guardian won't let her, and soon her millionaire sweetheart is inveigled into participating in a major heist. All turns out well when the foster-father is killed, and it is revealed that the girl is actually the long-lost daughter of a wealthy family.
