Synopsis by Nathan Southern

Aimed at die-hard soccer fans and sports history buffs, the home video release World Cup Soccer 1966-1974 intercuts an array of greatest moments from each of the three Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup soccer matches between 1966-74. Relive England's controversial 4-2 "Wembley Goal" victory over West Germany in '66, as Geoff Hurst leveled the score and Martin Peters edged England ahead in the 78th minute; Franz Beckenbauer's astonishing decision - in the 1970 Mexico City-hosted world cup - to play the final quarter with a dislocated shoulder, as the Squadra went head-to-head with the Mannschaft; and the defeat of the Netherlands in Germany's hands, during the 1974 cup, that sank them in a 2-1 loss thanks to the efforts of Beckenbauer. This veritable best-of enables soccer aficionados to relive the moments that made FIFA history, again and again.
