William Palluth is a painter, author, and workshop leader who's been mastering his craft for more than 40 years. In this six-part series, he provides students with basic instructions and special techniques designed to enhance their oil painting skills. This episode focuses on creating a winter landscape complete with snow and proper lighting. Students are shown how to mix some of this lesson's most critical colors. Palluth's paintings can be found in former president Gerald R. Ford's private collection and in the public collections of the University of Michigan and California's San Bernardino County Museum.
