Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith

William Palluth is a painter, author, and workshop leader who's been mastering his craft for more than 40 years. In this six-part series, he provides students with basic instructions and special techniques designed to enhance their oil painting skills. This volume focuses on painting colorful leaves and a sky filled with autumn clouds. Students are urged to use a long bristle brush to achieve several of the demonstrated techniques. Palluth's paintings can be found in former president Gerald R. Ford's private collection and in the public collections of the University of Michigan and California's San Bernardino County Museum.
