Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Geraldine O'Brien plays a factory worker who is fired because she tries to protect one of her fellow employees from the lusty advances of their boss. She then joins forces with a crook and becomes his mistress. Although she winds up in jail because he stashed some of his stolen goods at her home, she escapes by flirting with the warden and then drugging him. She's still leading a life of crime when she sees a young minister (Thurlow Bergen) preaching. The minister gets her a job and then marries her, but her past continues to follow her -- the crook comes back into her life, now as a blackmailer. She is tortured by him until he is shot by the police. As he is dying, he insists that her past is completely free of any wrong doing -- a half lie, half truth that satisfies any doubts the minister may have had about her.
