Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Even though her marriage to Charles Chaplin had long been on the rocks, producer Louis B. Mayer tried to bring in as much box office as possible by billing star Mildred Harris as Mildred Harris Chaplin. Name-calling aside, Harris did a credible job here of playing Hilda Emerson, who is woefully neglected by her doctor husband Phillip (Ramsey Wallace). Phillip spends all his time researching infantile paralysis and he is oblivious to his family until his own little boy (Richard Hedrick) is stricken with the disease. He rushes home to find another doctor pronouncing the child dead. The boy survives, however, and it is Hilda's attention that brings him back to health. Afterwards, husband and wife come to a new understanding.
