Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Banker Wharton (Joseph Smiley) is on his last legs financially, and when he confesses his ruin to his daughter, Marion (Florence Billings), she swears revenge. She gets herself a job on Wall Street working for the prosperous and ruthless Lawton (E.J. Ratcliffe). Lawton's son (Eugene Strong) is the exact opposite of his father and he falls in love with Marion. He even goes to work for his father so he can be near her. There are strange goings on around Marion. Valuable stocks and bonds turn up missing and while evidence points toward her, nothing can be proved. And there's also the presence of a mysterious man (Hugh Thompson) who seems to somehow be involved with her. Lawton convinces his son to aid in a search of Marion's apartment, but nothing turns up. Finally, when Lawton's finances are in a shambles, Marion brings Lawton and the mysterious man together -- the man is her brother, and Lawton is the one who ruined their father. Everyone comes to an understanding, and Lawton Jr. and Marion unite.
