Dark days are ahead in the garment district when David Steinberg (Ron Silver), son of mob-connected clothing magnate Eli Sternberg (Jerry Lewis), is apparently injured in a hotel bombing in Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, undercover agent Vinnie (Ken Wahl), assigned to get the goods on Eli's sinister "partner" Pinzolo (Stanley Tucci), is sidelined by a traffic accident. In desperation, Vinnie's boss McPike assigns the case to veteran OCB man John Henry Raglin (Anthony Denison), who is none too keen to return to undercover work--not even with Vinnie pulling the strings from his hospital bed.
