Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Season Two of Wiseguy begins with a new story arc, launched by a decision made by undercover federal agent Vinnie Terranova (Ken Wahl) at the end of Season One. Having resigned from the OCB, Vinnie returns to his old neighborhood, where he gets a job as a garage mechanic. Intending never again to become involved in covert government activities, Vinnie must break this promise to himself when his neighborhood is besieged by the Pilgrims of Progress, a neo-Nazi group. After a local synagogue is trashed, Vinnie's brother, Father Pete Terranova (Gerald Anthony), rallies the neighborhood against the hate group--and is murdered for his troubles. Thus, when his old boss Frank McPike (Jonathan Banks) invites Vinnie to return to the OCB in order to destroy the Pilgrims of Progress, it is an often he is disinclined to refuse.
