Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Patsy Ruth Miller was still riding on the success of The Hunchback of Notre Dame when she made this rather ordinary program picture. She is Billie Farrington, a charming but somewhat foolish young lady who becomes infatuated with the phony Count Ricardo Venino (Leon Bary). Her aunt (Edythe Chapman), who has a lot more sense, wants Billie to wed ranch foreman Bob Hanford (a surprisingly uninspired Matt Moore). Billie refuses to listen until her aunt becomes gravely ill, and then she marries Hanford only to make her last moments happy. The marriage is not a success because Billie is cold towards her new husband and she still longs for Venino. Finally, at a reception, she discovers that the Count is a faker, but he kidnaps her and attempts to spirit her away. He isn't counting on the much-maligned Hanford, however, who comes to Billie's rescue. Venino shoots himself, and Billie begins to truly appreciate Hanford.
