Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Dorothy Dalton plays young widow Catherine Winship, whose devotion to her late husband's memory is so intense that she spurns all prospective suitors. Enter hero Archibald Herndon (Rowland V. Lee), who vows to make Catherine his bride whether she likes it or not. At first, she doesn't like it, and her violent reaction to Herndon's courtship efforts earn her the soubriquet of "Wild Winship's Widow." Herndon finally succeeds in wearing down Catherine's resistance by proving to her that her sainted husband was not the paragon that she thinks he was. Leading man Rowland V. Lee later forsook acting for directing, toting up such impressive credits as Zoo in Budapest, The Count of Monte Cristo and Son of Frankenstein.
