Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
This grim drama provides slices from the down-beat lives of two aimless young LA street hustlers and their drug-addicted, pregnant teenage prostitute roommate. The trouble begins when the unborn baby's father dies of AIDS. They all want to attend the funeral, but will not go until they are sufficiently drugged. Unfortunately, they don't have enough money to score anything. In desperation, Rita gives her body to a cruel and twisted dealer in exchange for stuff. Following the service, the dead boy's family comes to the hooker and makes her an offer for a better life. She accepts, and ignoring the jeers of her former compadres leaves the streets for good.
